The Black Family

Things have been a little hectic at my house the past week, so I was very grateful to take some time out for a photo session. Thanks so much Jen and Brian for letting me photograph your beautiful family. I will miss you!

Longest. Post. Ever.

August was a crazy month at our house. It started off normal, but then we found out that we are moving across the country to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Very soon. We always knew we wanted to get back to the Midwest, we just didn't think it would happen this September. So we have been packing in lots of fun with our friends here in PA while we can. I will really miss this mountain view. A trip to the Arborteum with the Alexanders. Of course we went to the creamery afterwards, but I was too busy eating ice cream to get any pictures of that part. We met up with Harrison's best bud Connor at Tudek Park and went back behind the park to feed the horses. I wish we would have known about this sooner. The kids loved it. Landry and Will are buddies too. I really wanted to get a cute picture with both of them smiling at the camera, but of course Harrison wouldn't cooperate. But I actually like this one better, because it is shows exactly how they are together. We had some of Harrison's friends from preschool over for a play date. We made chocolate covered banana pops. Yummy! Of course, Connor and Harrison had to break out the super hero costumes. We had a previously planned trip to Kansas this month, so we squeezed in a trip to Tulsa while we were there to find a new house. While Justin and I house hunted, the grandparents took our kids to the Tulsa Zoo. They loved the animals, but their favorite part was the water slide and water tunnel they had set up there (it was 100 degrees). They loved Granddad's golf cart. Landry attempting to ride my old tricycle. Fishing with Scout and Jersey. Scout caught the biggest and the most fish! Jersey and Harrison didn't have the patience for fishing, but they had a blast anyway. Gage Park. It was so fun to see our kids playing on the same stuff Justin and I played on when we were little.

Grace family

Once again I had so much fun photographing this gorgeous family. I loved seeing how much the girls have changed in the last year - they are so grown up. Thanks so much for braving the rain and bugs for the sake of photographs.
