Harrison and Landry - 18 months

Everyone is always telling me how much my kids look alike. I normally think so too, but whenever I put together pictures of them at the same age, I just don't see it. Either way, they are both pretty darn cute!

Landry - 18 months

Looking at these pictures I am realizing that my baby is officially a toddler. She continues to be the happiest girl I know. She is way more fearless than Harrison was at this age and will climb pretty much anything that you put in front of her. She loves her brother so much and does her best to keep up with him. The scary part is that most of the time she is pretty good at it.

Happy 4th of July! We had a great weekend with lots of fun family time. This was the first year that Harrison was really excited about all the 4th fun. The hardest part for him was simply waiting for it to get dark. Of course Miss Landry wasn't able to stay up late enough to watch night time fireworks, but she did get in on some of the festivities. Here is Harrison enjoying the smoke bombs, and Landry crying because I wouldn't let her touch them. But she made a quick recovery with the snaps. She loved them! With Landry in bed, we were trying all kinds of things to keep Harrison entertained until dark. Snakes... Hopscotch... Glow sword... Finally the sun went down. We did a few fountains and he loved those. But as soon as the neighbors started doing some that were a little louder Harrison was ready to go in. :) He cracks me up.

Super H turns 4!

We celebrated Harrison's 4th Birthday at one of his favorite parks last weekend. He has been very into super heroes lately so the theme was an easy pick. I made the capes out of t-shirts and they were a big hit with the kids. One of my friends made the cake and Oreo pops for me and she did an awesome job. I was so grateful to have my parents in town from Kansas and my sister visiting from Atlanta. It was a great day and Harrison had a blast with his friends. I caught Harrison and his best bud Connor sneaking some frosting from the cake. They are so funny together! Everyone enjoyed the Oreo pops, especially Landry.

Donmoyer Family

What a gorgeous family! They were having a whirlwind weekend with their Dad arriving from Texas to help pack up the house and move there. Somehow they managed to arrive at the session on time and also be cheerful. I was so impressed (actually in awe)! Thank you so much Brent and Stacey for letting me photograph your beautiful family. You will be missed here in State College, but I am happy that you will be all together in Texas.

I absolutely love photographing newborns, and this session was no exception. Jack was the sleepiest, sweetest little baby ever. We had so much fun posing him and he cooperated so well. :) One of my favorite shots to date is the first one below. I have so much respect for military families and all the sacrifices that they make. It is neat to be able to incorporate that into the newborn photographs. Thanks Luke and Molly for letting me photograph your adorable family!
